This business has been in existence for 12 years. The brand name Leo's Gourmet Smoked Fish is well known throughout Western Washington State as well as east of the Cascades in places like Yakima, Wenatchee, Ellensburg.
The fish smoking shop is located in an 800 square foot building on the property and includes 2 commercial grade smokers (hot smoking) as well as space for raw material preparation, refrigeration and the storage of packaging/shipping materials. The current owner is primarily focused on the productions of smoked fish products from either King (Chinook) Salmon and Steelhead.
Gross annual sales at this time are $ 70-75,000. Most sales activities involve convenience stores throughout the region although there are several accounts that involve significant monthly sales volumes to regional seafood stores.
